When a man loves a woman
When a man loves a woman
He will run a mile to a flower shop;
To please her, and to be praised.
He will imagine in his mind;
Dreams of talk and song.
He will wish for whole honesty
In the lady, to his self.
He will smile with glee
When she discovers a gift or plays hard to get.
He will choose to meet her just twice a month
(Once is too few, three is too many)
Under the dreamed vision of the most romantic location
And he will wish they would live a vision
At two special moments in a month.
They would be like two lone sailboats
Meeting at the centre of the Bermuda Triangle.
They would create calm;
While around them be tears of all things.
The two would continue to dream;
And their imaginations would be fed to higher planes.
When a man loves a woman.
He would meet her in the arena of the closed eye.
