TO HOARDS OF SLAVES
Huckleberry Finn; Chuckleberry Finn.
A smiling hero comes along;
Messiah to a service divine;
Dark and perishable goods.
Flow down the Holy Ganges;
A Ganges in its own blood of massacre.
Choking it and all its tributaries;
While the languid vampires feed.
It is a long road
Alluring and subjunctive in attraction.
Nobody would know anyones' name;
If they ever crossed as brother and sister.
I don't belong in this position.
Guard dogs have growled their heads off for me.
And so I remain. And to the great I drink.
Thy who will appreciate freedom, in thy divinity;
Will know thy way in the dark world.
Let it ring;
Let freedom ring.
Into the nooks and crannies left.
Still left to invade.
